    Dr. Gerrit Van Loon

    Dr. Gerrit Van Loon is a 1991 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic and a 1984 magna cum laude graduate of SUNY Buffalo's Physical Therapy program.

    Dr. Gerrit has been in private practice in Ithaca, NY as a Chiropractor since 1992 and specializes in care of athletic injuries as well as general Chiropractic concerns. He incorporates many concepts of physical therapy into his daily treatment programs for his patients. Dr. Gerrit has attained certification in all 3 levels of Active Release Techniques, which is a soft tissue technique which addresses deep scar tissue or adhesions which can interfere with a muscle's ability to function properly.

    Dr. Meghan Van Loon

    Dr. Meghan Van Loon is a 1991 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic and a 1985 graduate of Ithaca College's Physical Therapy program.

    In the Chiropractic practice, Dr. Meghan has continued to pursue her interest in pediatric and maternity chiropractic care with specialized degrees in those areas from the International Chiropractors Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She is on faculty at New York Chiropractic College and maintains a private practice in Ithaca focusing on the Chiropractic care of Moms and Children.

    Another technique utilized in the office is KinesioTaping which is a functional, elastic tape which facilitates or inhibits muscles depending on the need of the individual. Also, Nutrition Response Testing is available to our clients who are interested in improving their overall well-being through nutritional support.

  • Beth Tetreault, LMT

    Beth Tetreault LMT

    Beth joined NHFC in June of 2017. She is a 1996 graduate of The Finger Lakes School of Massage (FLSM).Since graduation Beth has worked in many different massage settings: Elder Care, Private practice focusing on chronic pain and injury recovery, as well as at many Spas. She also taught and worked as a Director at FLSM for many years. She is currently enrolled in the RN program at our local college and looks forward to balancing her new nursing career with massage. As a patient of Dr. Meghan's, she knows first hand the value and synergy that chiropractic and massage have together.
